The government is not your friend

Yesterday, guilty guilt over the Roman storm is absolutely crazy about the earl of the conspiracy to run an unlicensed money service business.

Fincen itself, the regulatory authority responsible for licensing, monitoring and enforcement measures for criminal conduct in the communication of Money, explicitly states that the independent tool that promotes the transmission of value using cryptocurrencies is not a money transmitter and is not subject to relevant regulations.

So how did you get here? Eight months after the election of a president who described himself as a Bitcoin and cryptocurrency advocate, how did the Rome storm commit a crime after the Justice Department itself explicitly stated that it would not engage in regulation or prosecute mixed services through prosecution?

There is nothing to explain this situation except for pure and unlimited insanity. Consistency. Hypocrisy and contradiction. However, there are lessons here, and I think it’s time for more people to learn in this field.

Government words are worthless. That doesn’t mean anything.

They continue to crack down on privacy, push KYC surveillance through genius acts, backdoors and more, and continue to apply them to (for now) stupid things. They continue to treat their desire for privacy as evidence of criminal intent. They do all this while talking from the other side of the mouth about supporting Bitcoiner and the “importance of self-custody.”

This is what the government is doing. This is what politicians do. It is inherent to their essence.

You need to stop treating these people as friends. We need to stop lying by pretending that they can win and becoming a powerful ally to push the values and tools they want to see in the world. They are not our friends. They do not become allies, they share a common cause with us. They are our enemies.

It’s time to pretend. These people must be treated as hostile and thus dealt with.

We need to stop begging them for bill provisions and riders. They need to be brought to court. We need to kiss their ass and stop pandering towards their ego and public persona concept. We need to call them as two-sided spineless people they are.

If the US government’s legal foundations are legitimate, new laws are not needed. No permission is required from these people. There is a constitution. Remind it in court.

At the end of all that, if this system is very corrupt and hypocritical, then we must ignore them if we functionally ignore the constitutional rights of Americans (and non-Americans). Civil disobedience is the last mechanism by which governments must be held responsible for fundamental constraints built outside the scope of violence. It’s time to use it.

Free men do not seek their freedom. They take it. In a digital age approaching Orwell’s totalitarianism, that’s the only way you can achieve it.
