Video-sharing platform Rumble is preparing to introduce Bitcoin tipping to its more than 51 million monthly active users, CEO Chris Pavlovsky announced on Friday.
Speaking on stage at the Plan₿ Forum in Lugano, Switzerland, Pavlovsky said Rumble has partnered with stablecoin issuer Tether to enable Bitcoin (BTC) tipping.
“We are currently in the testing phase, but we plan to begin rolling it out in parallel with Tether in the coming weeks.”
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino also took to the stage, predicting a full rollout by early to mid-December once small bugs are fixed and the UX is improved.
The Rumble team posted a video on X featuring the initial information sent to Rumble content creator and former Canadian political candidate David Freiheit.

Given the size of Rumble’s audience and anti-censorship stance that resonates with many in the Bitcoin community, this integration could play an important role in driving the adoption of Bitcoin payments.
Although institutional adoption is fueling the current bull market, the use of Bitcoin as a payment method has not yet become as mainstream as expected.
Bitcoiner and Block CEO Jack Dorsey has warned that without widespread adoption for everyday payments, Bitcoin will fail to fulfill its purpose as a peer-to-peer electronic money system as intended by its pseudonym creator Satoshi Nakamoto.
Bitcoin tips could help creators around the world
Ardoino noted that Rumble could be a natural environment for Bitcoin payments to flourish, given that video content production is primarily published online.
“Bitcoin and stablecoins have the potential to serve a segment of the population that is very important to Tether: emerging market populations, but also primary economies like the United States.”
“Bitcoin and stablecoin use cases really empower creators and give them peace of mind that their bank accounts will not be taken away for what they say.”

Ardoino’s Tether invested $775 million in the video streaming platform last December.
Rumble is making moves in the cryptocurrency space
YouTube’s rival is also working with cryptocurrency payments company MoonPay to offer users a cryptocurrency wallet, which is expected to make it easier for content creators to receive Bitcoin chips.
Rumble also adopted a Bitcoin treasury strategy in March and has accumulated 210.8 Bitcoins worth $23.4 million so far, according to data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET.
